Shoofra Flagship Store Design
The design of Shoofra’s new flagship store was carried out in collaboration with architecture firm k1p3 Architects, who were responsible for the spatial planning, while the furniture design was entrusted to me.
The store features an exceptionally spacious layout, and the main challenge was to create an intuitive flow – with clearly defined zones that invite exploration and discovery. I chose an “island” concept – free-standing display units that fill the space in a soft and balanced way.
The furniture was designed using a mix of materials and techniques: laminated bent wood, curved Corian surfaces, and durable polymer benches shaped with soft geometric lines. Combining these materials required deep familiarity with each production method, resulting in a design language that is rich yet calm – one that gives the spotlight to the true stars: the shoes themselves.
