KIDS' MAGICAL CHARACTERS DREAMS PROJECT
“Kids with Magical Characters" is a charitable project that was initiated and executed by Dor Carmon Sudion and sponsored by Stratasys and Synergy, in cooperation with the Oncology Department of the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. The goal of “Kids With Magical Characters" is to raise the spirits of children with cancer and raise funds to fight the disease.
The imaginative drawings of children who are being treated at Safra are developed into three dimensional models by 30 leading designers and design studios across Israel. Through the talents of Synergy’s industrial design team and the magic of Stratasys 3D printers, the models are transformed into colorful, original figurines. Two figurines were produced for each drawing - one was given to the child and the second was sold to raise funds for the Friends of Sheba Medical Center Tel Hashomer.
